A rather fine, late Georgian building dating to around 1830. It appears to be mainly for commercial use, although the upper floors may have been flats at some stage; there are also extensive cellars. It was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/300008030-plasgwyn-newtown-and-llanllwchaiarn#.YuokynbMI2w in 1988.
