The Drovers was once a popular place for meals and for musical evenings, but now it is abandoned and in a sad state of repair. Rumour has it that the inn may be demolished and the large site redeveloped. 2014 update: The Drovers Inn has now gone completely, the decaying building being gutted by fire circa 2011. The site is currently fenced off and awaiting development.
