As there was no signage on the building I did wonder if it had closed, but there is still a sign at the car park entrance to the rear, and there was no signage on this side when first photographed for the site in 2008 Image Plus it's now a Samuel Smith pub (according to a CAMRA guide to Leeds pubs published in 1993, it was a Smith's house then), and the brewer is surprisingly reticent about advertising its premises. WhatPub.com seems to suggest it's still open.
