One of the amenities provided by Sir Titus Salt for the benefit of Saltaire residents was a public bath house and laundry where you could clean yourself and your clothes in a state of the art (for those days) combined facility. Strangely, it didn't prove popular and was converted to housing. Now nothing of it remains and the site is a small paved garden with an information panel, a few notices and a phone box.
