One of a pair of very similar former warehouses, probably early 19th century, and Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/300008134-11-lower-canal-road-powys-newtown-and-llanllwchaiarn#.YuIrGHbMI2w in 1988 for its association with the former canal basin to the rear, which served the Cambrian and Kymric (tweed) Mills. The site of the basin is now filled in, and occupied by the yard of a builders' merchant. The other warehouse is Image
