One of a pair of very similar former warehouses, probably early 19th century, and Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/300008134-11-lower-canal-road-powys-newtown-and-llanllwchaiarn#.YuIrGHbMI2w in 1988 for its association with the former canal basin to the rear, which served the Cambrian and Kymric (tweed) Mills.
