Seagull Trust Cruises is a charitable organisation, wholly run by unpaid volunteers, that provides free barge trips for people with special needs. The Trust has centres at Kirkintilloch (Forth and Clyde Canal), Falkirk and Ratho (Union Canal) and Inverness (Caledonian Canal). The landing stage seen here is for emergency use by Seagull Trust boats only. The boats usually use berths in the adjacent Southbank Marina.
