"Miss" is carved from Carrera marble which becomes translucent when penetrated by the sun, symbolising the passage of time. The sunlight refracting off the surrounding buildings creates passing shadows and moments of inactivity, allowing the illumination of the work to be intermittent, making its activation by the sun a temporary phenomenon. Looking southwest.
