This secluded "hamlet" conversion development is on the site formerly occupied by RAF Perton accommodation buildings by Cranmoor Lodge Farm (now Cranmoor House). Natural vegetation encouragement by the Staffordshire Way bridleway now helps considerably in the dwellings' privacy. The 1940s buildings were much more easily accessible in 2007. The nearby Cranmoor Lodge Farm (now called Cranmoor House) and its barns have also been renovated and converted, the whole site being described by estate agents locally as a "hamlet".
