Once the site of a German gun. Its plaque remains - 'This gun captured from the Germans was erected in memory of the glorious victory of British arms in the Great war 1914 - 1918'. Another plaque commemorates the Victoria Cross awarded to Lieutenant Eugene Bennett of the Worcestershire Regiment for his actions on 5th November 1916. The Peace Garden was created 100 years later, in November 2016.
