Once upon a time it was all Chinese and Indian restaurants here but Eastern Europeans are making their presence felt now. There have long been a few Italian eating places on Cowley Road but the arrival of specialist food shops like this one (dated 1999) may be due to a new interest in high-quality ingredients for eating at home. (Across the road there is a Greek shop too.)
