The rather ornate building here is Sandfields Lodge, built in the 18th century but subsequently altered. It was used as a private 'lunatic asylum' (mental hospital) in the first half of the 19th century, and together with Image to its left was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101298593-sandfields-house-sandfields-lodge-lichfield#.Ys652HbMI2w & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1298593?section=official-list-entry in 1994.
