This is a detail from the Swedish windows in Coventry Cathedral. This one illustrates the life of Saint Botvid, a missionary who lived around 1100. Botvid travelled as a trader from Sweden to England, where he converted to Christianity and was sent back home to preach the faith by St Sigfrid, subject of another of the windows Image The Swedish windows were a gift to the cathedral by their maker, Einar Forseth, and the people of Sweden; see their page on the cathedral website here https://www.coventrycathedral.org.uk/heritage/works-of-art/the-swedish-windows . For more on Botvid see his Wikipedia entry https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Botvid .
