Two class 91 electric locomotives - Nos. 91128 and 91122, which worked East Coast Main Line expresses for 30 years until recently - arrive at Newport Docks for scrapping. The locomotives have been brought on their final journey by class 37 locomotives No. 37601 and No. 37608 working in top-and-tail mode, and are sandwiched between barrier vehicles to provide additional brake force. It seems ironic that the 37 diesels bringing them are some 20 years older than the electric 91s being scrapped.
