A level crossing takes the West Coastway line across Goring Street at Goring-by-Sea. This road used to be part of the route of the A259 main road along the south coast. The A259 now crosses the railway slightly to the east, over a bridge, so that 'A' road traffic is no longer halted when trains are passing.
