West Stow Hall is a Grade I listed, see: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1031269?section=official-list-entry The gatehouse dates from around 1520 and was built by Sir John Crofts, Master of the Horse to the sister of Henry VIII, Mary Tudor, who was briefly Queen of France, and subsequently the wife of Charles Brandon, Duke of Suffolk.
