"1921 ... design prepared by the rector, Reverend F E Coope, based on a C15 village cross at South Zeal ... grey granite ... plain Latin cross surmounted upon a tapering octagonal shaft on a square plinth, with a substantial four-stepped square base" https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1464182?section=official-list-entry . An interesting octagonal tower is a feature of the house in the background.
