A close-up of the York 15 milestone on the A58 at Wattle Syke. It is about 250 metres north of the A659 junction. Although not picked out in black paint the foundry name can just be made out cast onto the bevel, BRAYSHAW & BOOTH/MAKERS/LIVERSEDGE. It is the only one on this route to have a foundry name. There are subtle differences in the letters, numbers and spacing between this one and the others towards York so it is unlikely they were cast at Brayshaw and Booths. Before 2010 it was struck by a vehicle and was leaning until 2011 when it was set upright again.
