The High Road offers a wide range of places of worship - Church of England, Roman Catholic, Baptist, Spiritualist, Pentecostal and Evangelical all within a kilometre. The Baptists' building of 1907 by George Baines in arts-and-crafts style is listed grade II (list entry 1391712).
