This starts at Russ Hill Hotel, and at first runs mostly behind the road hedge on the left on its way to the village. Here it has leave the field edge to pass across the frontage of Russ Hill Farm on the broad road verge. It then goes behind the hedge again. The fields to either side of Russ Hill Farm (now in name only) have been landscaped into a sort of extended garden.
