This double arch bridge provides access from Wood Street to the caravan park at Kilnknowe. The Waverley Railway Line, that closed in 1969, ran under the arch on the right. A short distance beyond the bridge was Kilnknowe Junction where a single track branch line ran to Peebles. This line was closed in 1962.
