Sad remains of the little timber station building (Arts & Crafts architecture) at the terminal of the Cairn Valley Railway from Dumfries to Moniaive. The line was opened 1905 and closed in 1943 for passengers, 1949 for freight. Apart from track bed, there are no other significant remains of the railway.
