This fine building is St Mary's College, which was founded in 1538 and is now part of the University of St Andrews. It was rebuilt in the late 1820s on the site of a former pedagogy, and attracted a Category A listing https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/200386647-st-marys-college-south-street-st-andrews-st-andrews#.YqD8x6jMLIU in 1959.
