This former weaving shed is now a textile museum. This small steam engine had literally arrived the same week as our visit and was built in Burnley by Samuel Baldwin as a 'donkey' engine to drive auxiliary machinery such as a sizing machine. It was used at Jubilee Mill, Padiham but had been at Masson Mill for many years. It is the intention to get this on display near Queen Street's sizing machines that had latterly been electrically driven. The flywheel and crankshaft were lying nearby.
