Garnett’s Mill is a 350kW hydro-electric installation using twin Archimedes screw turbines constructed below Otley Weir on the site of an old paper mill. Unfortunately, tree cover on the north bank of the river prevents a clear view of the turbines from Wharfemeadows Park. Image shows a close up.
