Here is the parish church of St. John the Baptist in Orcop, situated in tranquil countryside. The earliest buildings here dates from the 13th century, those being the nave and north aisle (early 13th century). The chancel was added in c.1300, and the building remained unaltered until its extensive restoration by Thomas Nicholson of Hereford in 1860. The building was grade II* listed in January 1967.
