Introduction
The photograph on this page of Where's the path? by Gordon Hatton as part of the Geograph project.

There's a sudden change from bridleway to footpath just a few metres short of this photo point, the reason for which seems unclear. This path, number 15.7/36 goes across this field, but there's little sign on the ground apart from some agricultural vehicle tracks. These were followed, but proved wrong as the path should go to the right of the clump of trees, seen centre right, leading past the Witch of the Woods House which is concealed within the clump.
