Prior to Belle Tout being moved back from the cliff edge on the 17th March 1999, it was easier to see it from the wave-cut platform below. In its new position 17 metres further inland, it is more difficult to see but this photo does identify that new position. The former lighthouse and now luxury bed and breakfast is often used as a film set for media productions because of its spectacular setting. The top of the grey coloured building can be seen in the centre of this photo though extra magnification does help to see it more clearly.
