On Barnton Street. It was designed by Thomas Brown II (in 1864) who was well known for designing court buildings. The design was modified and built by Wardrop and Reid, dated 1874-6. It is Category B listed http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB41108. The part on the left is the former police station which dates from 1912.
