Holme farmhouse was originally built in the 17th century. A 19th century extension has enveloped the original building. Constructed of squared, coursed stone under a Collyweston stone slate roof. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1253128 Tinwell is a small commuter village on the eastern border of the county of Rutland, some 1½ miles west of Stamford. Most working residents travel to Stamford or Peterborough.
