The seat is at the corner of Image The Lincombe estate was built up in the mid nineteenth century. Cherry and Pevsner point out how "cunningly" the houses are laid out, set close to uppr roads for the service entrance, but approached from lower roads "up long leafy drives which give the illusion of much larger estates".
