Hillfield Park lake

The lake in Hillfield Park created when the surrounding Cranmore-Widney-Monkspath housing estates were built in the 1980s. It is filled by the Cran Brook, which is culverted beyond the lake beneath an extensive landfill site full of household refuse from the seventies and before.
