This 1980s housing estate demonstrates how developers build to satisfy a perceived demand. In this case the site is very close (about a minute's walk away) to Erith railway station and the type of housing has been designed to accommodate young commuters without families. Cricketers Close leads straight on from the roundabout, while Stonewood Road is off to the right from it.
