I took this picture because of the two strange yellow horn things. I have no idea what their purpose is and I can't imagine they are designed to be climbed upon, but who knows? There are a number of small holes in the bit inside them, rather like those on a showerhead. I often applaud the inventiveness of modern-day playparks on here, though this one, while still far younger than me, definitely dates from a previous generation (love the car though!) I have noticed, however, that swings are only present in the biggest of the new ones, and there is rarely a seesaw present. You can't beat a seesaw, surely, whatever the era?!
