The remarkable sight of three in-steam ex-LMS steam locomotives on the national network. Jubilees No. 45596 Bahamas and No. 45690 Leander and Duchess No. 6233 Duchess of Hamilton are seen at Ninian Park station, where they had arrived on a turning move from Barry. The Jubilees had arrived from Chester with the Railway Touring Company's Great Britain XIV railtour, which the Duchess would work the next day to Exeter.
