Burial records for East Hill began in 1856 and the first burial was Elizabeth Barnes on the 5th October of that year. The cemetery was originally known as The Brent Cemetery from this part of Dartford which is known as The Brent. Unusually, the invasive Spanish bluebells see here include not only blue, but also white and pink varieties.
