These houses with these names appeared on maps in the mid 20th century, along with Kilmarnock Farm, which is not far away. If Stewartson is regarded as a mistake for Stewarton, then the names refer to towns in Ayrshire, Scotland. Who was the landowner with nostalgia for that area?
