A train from Wolverhampton to Birmingham is crossing the bridge over the Soho Loop, a 'meander' of James Brindley's Birmingham Canal that was later bypassed by Thomas Telford's improved canal, which can be seen in the foreground. Behind the railway new apartments are being built on former industrial land.
