Here is the parish church of St. John the Baptist in Kinlet, which contains many monuments inside with splendid detail on them. First built in the 12th century, the present building mainly dates from the 13th and 14th centuries. The building was originally surrounded by many buildings of different eras, but they were all demolished in the 1720s when Kinlet Hall was built in 1729. The church was grade I listed in March 1970, and is situated in a tranquil location with brilliant countryside views.
