In the general run of things, if I dislike a building I won't Geograph it. But the tower of this church is such a blot on the townscape that I'm making it an exception. I suppose that the architect - Teulon, according to Pevsner - was aiming at 'monumentality'. To me it looks industrial, like an old laundry tower: https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2771810
