Rochdale Canal in foreground. The big 1912 block is Royal Mills with attached Sedgwick Mill (1818-1820). This was McConnel and Kennedy's Complex. Next along is Murray's complex and Beehive is beyond the street furniture. Anybody remotely interested in textile mill history needs "Cotton Mills in Greater Manchester".
