This road was formerly Chester Street Bus Station. It was used by buses & coaches, run mainly by the West Yorkshire Road Car Company, on longer distance services than Bradford Corporation who ran local services. It was closed in the 1970s when the new Interchange bus station was opened. I remember catching coaches to Morecambe from here, with my mother, when I was a child in the 1960s.
