Wood Farm has in the past been a dairy farm, and a pig farm owned by Joe Bygraves, a former British heavyweight boxing champion. From the mid 1970s to the late 1980s, the lower parts were used as a landfill site. Wood Farm has now been restored for nature and for recreation. As can be seen, there are fabulous views as far as the North Downs and including the Wembley Arch.
