The Redbridge pub is at the top of bridge street and is named after the Redbridge canal that used to run between Andover and Southampton. The canal fell into disuse when the railway line between Andover and Southampton was opened. Since this photo was taken the Redbridge has under gone a change of colour scheme as can be seen here.
