This section of Green Lane is now an unsurfaced footpath although further north it's a tarmac surfaced byway. Another contributor describes it as a former packhorse road Image The wall, considerably more substantial than most field boundaries, is the boundary wall of Farnley Park, i.e. the estate of Farnley Hall, though the other side is just farmland.
