The destination displays Rokeby Avenue although the bus is heading into the City centre, but it was a quirk of the Corporation services that they tended to show the same destination display in both directions. In the distance is the spire of St Matthew's Church. 404 is a Metro-Scania integral bus, new in 1975. This is one of a series of views featuring buses in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=137652761
