Trent and Mersey Canal. The unpowered narrowboat butty "Keppel" was built in 1960 for British Waterways and paired with the powered boat "Lindsay". Together they carried china clay to the Potteries and ferried finished wares back to the docks in Runcorn, Cheshire. About three months before this image was obtained, both vessels were handed over to the Etruria Industrial Museum for restoration. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-stoke-staffordshire-13640509
