The Fox pub was built in 1848 and was originally called "The Fox Inn over the Hill”. It was the meeting point for local fox-hunters. For many years The Fox was owned by two sisters, Sarah and Maggie. It's a favourite with beer lovers, having won many 'pub of the year' awards from the local branch of the Campaign for Real Ale. The Fox is owned by the Truepubco.
