Parish Boundary Marker almost opposite the Lancaster House Hotel sign, on the west side of the A6. Inscribed Ellel and Ashton / with / Stodday on adjacent faces. Ashton with Stodday parish was absorbed into Thurnham parish in 1980. Grade II Listed details https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1071760.
