Alternatively known as St Peter's Cottages, this pair of semi-detached cottages was built in 1895 and funded for by a former vicar of St Peter's Church, Rev Horatio Nelson Dudding, who was also responsible for the almshouses in St Peter's Road (see Image). Their only access is from the footpath seen here, which runs from St Peter's Road, past the end of Clifton Street, and into St Peter's Churchyard. They are locally listed. The plaques in the gables read (on the left) "Who enter here dwell in Christ's love" and on the right "Then dwell with Christ in light above".
