Statue of William Shakespeare in the garden to the rear of Shahkespeare's birthplace. This is one of a pair, the other being of Tang Xianzu who was a contemporary of Shakespeare, a Chinese playwright of the Ming dynasty who died just months after Shakespeare in 1616.
